#Projectmovehouse, Supper (Thasevi Famous Jalan Kayu Prata Restaurant,Selegie Soya Bean Jalan Kayu)

It was #projectmovehouse last friday. After months of to and fro (from new place to old place), this was my final batch of stuffs to be move over. I do still have some small stuffs left behind but they weren't essential as of now. I shall take my time to move.

Come to think of it, I realise I've a wardrobe full of clothes which were not shifted over. Opps! All my cupboards in that tiny room are still intact. There's still stuffs inside each of those cupboards which I decide to just leave it there till further notice. Whatever it is, I just need to settle in my essentials to the new place first.

Our final batch of items.

We've already moved quite a number of stuffs every weekend for the whole month of June

My ex coli, Lester, decide to help us fetch the stuff down because it's a waste of money to hire movers. In return, we treat him to Jalan Kayu Prata and Selegie Tau Huay! #friendshipprice

We set off at around 9pm from Jurong and reached Jalan Kayu near 10pm. Our plan was to ta bao supper up to my new place so we can have supper and catch up session.

It was Derp and my first time to Jalan Kayu. We know that it's really near to our new place but never had a chance to go. We were glad to find out there's direct bus from the bus stop below our new place to Jalan Kayu. Shall go there for dinner one day soon because they have lots of food there. The famous spicy chicken wings near to Seletar Airbase have shifted to Jalan Kayu too!

We headed first to Thasevi Famous Jalan Kayu Prata to ta bao their prata. What's a trip to Jalan Kayu without trying out their famous prata?

Their menu.

It was near to 10pm but there wasn't much people..

We then hop over Selegie Soya Bean @ Jalan Kayu

Spoiled for choice and they even sell muffins! It looks awesome :)

All of us weren't really that hungry so we just ta bao their signature tau huay (note: not the pudding type but the traditional type)

It was a short drive back to our new place and then we had to carry everything up. We took 2 rounds to settle everything and finall  sat down for our supper while watching tv!

Our supper that night shared by 3 persons.

After trying the famous Jalan Kayu Prata, I can conclude there's nth fasincating about it. It's not that cheap in the first place. All the pratas are $1 and up. The prata was really tiny small. But oh well, at the very least, we finally tried it. Doubt we will have it again because there's so many others good food @ Jalan Kayu.

As for the Selegie Tau Huay, it tasted really good! I've once tried Rochor Tau Huay @ Selegie Road, I think they are the of the same standard. Too bad we didn't ta bao their You Tiao to goes with the tau huay.

Nevertheless prata and tau huay, this combination wasn't that bad either. We will defintely go back to try their other desserts in the near future.

That's all about #projectmovehouse. It was a nice chilling out supper session. We talk a lot of rubbish indeed lol. Looking forward to more friends coming over for such session! I guess that's the perk of staying by yourself. :)
