NeNe Chicken @ Star Vista

Derp and I went Star Vista after work to try NeNe Chicken after hearing much of their freaking hot chicken. NeNe chicken started in South Korea and they have over 920 outlets all over South Korea. FYI, NeNe means 'yes yes' in korean :)

Anyway, I wasn't really a fan of all this korean fast food but ever since I ate four fingers, I was totally impressed by how tasty korean fast food can be. If I'm not wrong, Yoo Jae Suk from running man is the ambassador for NeNe Chicken.

The menu.

Very korean type of interior.

We ordered 2 sets of 2 pieces meal from NeNe chicken, 1 set freaking hot and 1 set swicy. The downside of the place is, it's reallllyyyyy smalll. The seats are really little and can only contain around 10 people. -_-". We opt for the take away instead to try our luck and see if anybody left before our food came.

The 'pager' which rings when our food is ready for collection.

By the time our food was ready, there are still no seats. Everyone is taking their own sweet time to eat. We decide to head out to the stairs area at Star Vista and sit there to have our dinner instead. It's a really spacious place for watching concert/performance.

Freaking Hot 2 piece chicken meal with fries + 1 yucky korean side dish. Totally can't figure out what is it and I let Derp try it first. He say it was weird and awful so I didn't try it in the end. lol. It does don't look appetizing at all.

The 'freaking hot' chicken is realllllyyyy hot. I tasted 1 bite of it and went like "ahhhhh so spicy!" lol. Derp took 1 mouth and started sweating. -_-". Guess what, we decide to pack up and go home to eat since it's already in take away boxes. Derp reckoned he will be sweating like mad after eating the chicken, so it's better to eat at home. lol.

The swincy chicken which I slowly finished it. A little spicy but not too much for me.

They did provided us with gloves so that our hands would not be dirty. So thoughtful right? :)

Me in one of my old jeggings that day because the weather have been really cold. I got to wear double layer most of the time.

Anyway, compare to Four Fingers, I still prefer Four Fingers because of the crispyness. NeNe Chicken's chicken is more towards the grill type dipped in spicy sauce. Overall nth impressive but for spicy lovers, you can just challenge the "freaking hot" chicken, is worth the try :) You probably won't regret. If you're staying in the west, they do have delivery service too.
